5 Key Pieces: Rainy Days

My favorite thing about Fall weather are the random grey, misty days.  It gives me an excuse to pull out my raincoat, wellies, and umbrella.  Here are 5 of my favorite rainy weather essentials:

1.  Banana Republic Classic Trench - ultra classic and chic - looks great with anything and on anyone.

2.  Wuthering Delights Coat from Modcloth.com - super dramatic (you know how I LOVE clothes with drama) and very affordable!  Plus you can add a sparkly brooch to make it fancy for evening

3.  ASOS Raincoat - a traditional slicker but with a girly twist - I adore the polka dots!

4.  London Fog Classic Trench - Having a London Fog trench in your closet is like having a pair of alligator shoes or a lovely pearl necklace - it's a must have for any wardrobe and completely classic and luxurious.  It looks great with a scarf and black leather gloves!

5.  I know I know - this is a totally outrageous high priced luxury item but would my essentials list be complete without at least one ridiculous buy?  This is the leather Burberry Prorsum Trench.  It's buttery.  It's chic.  It's timeless.  I want it.

Rain Boots:
I'm not a huge fan of rain boots but there are some really cute options that don't make you look like you belong on a box of fish sticks.  Here are some of my faves:

Rachel Antonoff for Bass - these are rugged, splash proof, RED, and have an adorable heart buckle.  So.  Damn.  Cute.

Keep Up The Lace Rain Bootie - These are a funky take on the rain boot - I love that they are see thru and short.  So cute with leggings!

Hunter Wedge Wellie Man Eater - If you are going to buy one pair of rain boots that will literally last you forever, you should invest in a pair of Hunters. I love the black crocodile.  I love the wedge.  I love the name.  Duh.

Umbrellas (ella ella ella)
I am very picky when it comes to umbrellas - I cannot stand a cheap umbrella that flips inside out at the first gust of wind.  I love the bubble styles best but I've added a regular one just for variety:

Rain or Shiny Umbrella - Won't flip inside out in the wind, has a fancy curved cane bottom and matches with everything.

Bloom Over Gloom Umbrella - I love the print, so fancy.  And totally affordable.  Obsessed.

Puddle Princess Umbrella - I mean - it has polka dots AND adorable ruffles!  What?? There is also a hoop at the end so you can loop it over your wrist.  So Parisian and chic!
