CAST COUTURE: BETSY MORGAN EDITION

Who: Betsy Morgan

Character: Fantine

Beauty Product: Pink tube mascara – what’s it called? Great Lash! My mom used it and I use it

Item of clothing: Cowboy boots

Pre show ritual:  Hanging out with Jenny

Place to shop: Boutiques

Shoes: Cowboy boots or the pair of black Christian Louboutins that Chris got me for my birthday, not too shabby

Jewelry: Stackable rings

Hair: Long, natural

Public Style: Jeans and a sassy tank – comfy but do-able at a bar

Private Style: I’m a sucker for Juicy track pants.  I call them my comfies.  I switch off between two green sleeping shirts; one from Snooze in Denver and the other is from a Martin Sexton concert - he signed the back!

Vice: The gym…Cheese.  They have to go together.  You can’t do the cheese without the gym.  I also really like ice cream.

Food: Breakfast.  I love breakfast.  My preference is scrambled eggs, grits, wheat toast and some kind of breakfast meat; I’m really not picky.  Although a chicken apple sausage is pretty awesome.  Also coffee every other day.  A girl has to have something to look forward to.

Film: No thanks.  I’m musical theater. (laughs)  Oh, if you were asking what is my favorite movie – recently – I saw the X men movie prequel, the last one they made – it was AWESOME.  Old movies…All The Presidents men – thanks to my movie buff boyfriend.

She Hates:  I don’t hate…I give everything a chance…. Brisket?

She Loves:  Date nights

Never leaves home without: A book and an umbrella

Hometown: Winnetka, IL

Current City: Providence, RI

Quote: “Crowds of men and women attired in the usual costumes, how curious you are to me!
On the ferry-boats the hundreds and hundreds that cross, returning home, are more curious to me than you suppose.
And you that shall cross from shore to shore years hence, are more to me, and more in my meditations, than you might suppose.” Walt Whitman, Crossing Brooklyn Ferry
I live in Brooklyn heights where Whitman used to live – I like that I live someplace where I might have been curious to Walt Whitman.
