GIFT GUIDE - GREAT GIFT IDEAS FOR THE ACTOR ON TOUR: TRAVEL EDITION

Being on tour is an amazing, crazy, roller-coaster - type experience.  You are living out of two suitcases, traveling to every theater in every kind of transportation imaginable, exploring new cities (some amazing some awful) and trying to stay comfortable, healthy and happy all the while.  One thing I appreciate on tour are my creature comforts!  They make everything so much better!  Here are a few ideas for some wonderful gifts to give the traveling actor in your life:

TRAVEL COMFORTS:
We are on planes, trains, and busses so often that it is amazing to have some luxury items that make the travel day more comfy - here are a few of my favorite items:

Travel Pillow - Essential for sleeping in an upright position - also doubles as an arm rest!  The one below is SUPER soft and it's inexpensive!  Shop for it HERE

Sleep Mask - When your sunglasses just aren't cutting it.  This is also a no-fail sign for the flight attendants to leave you alone - I hate getting woken up for a bag of peanuts! You can find more hilarious masks HERE

Luxurious Throw - Is there anything better than wrapping yourself up in a delicious cashmere throw on the plane?  It always makes me feel like I'm flying first class - the one featured is from Neiman Marcus and it is BEYOND luxurious.  SO GOOD.

LUGGAGE AND CASES - It is imperative that you have sturdy, well made, gorgeous suitcases, carry-ons and laptop cases.  These items get thrown around and abused so much that it is VERY worth it to invest in the best!  Plus you will look like a movie star in the terminal!  Here are some of my favorite items:

Space Saver Luggage Bag - These are the most incredible space savers.  Not only are they simple and adorable but they make packing a breeze.  You can also organize your clothes so easily! 

Tory Burch Leather Lap Top Case - Simple, stylish and very functional.  It also easily stows inside your carry-on if you need to consolidate your bags (which I often have to do) 

Hilarious Luggage Tags - If you have plain suitcases it’s always good to have a silly, colorful tag so you can easily spot your bags on the conveyor.  These are so cute and I love the phrases - hands off!

Citrus Foldable Totes from Oriental Trading Co - It’s always helpful to have an extra bag handy just in case.  These are great for toting things back and forth from your trunk to the hotel.  BONUS: they fold into tiny fruit slices and can be stashed anywhere!

Jack Spade Anchor Red Leather Wallet - I die for this absurd wallet.  The anchor design on the supple red leather is so great.  It’s sleek and fits everything.  

Le Sportsac Leopard Weekender - I love ANYTHING leopard and this is no exception.  This bag is functional, durable, sturdy and doesn’t look tacky on your arm in the airport.  It comes in a bunch of different colors and patterns but I love the animal print best!

Jack Spade Grain Leather Medium Eaton Duffle - 

An amazing, manly carry on.  It’s super luxe, extra durable and can fit absolutely all of your essentials. 

It looks great on the handsome traveling man.
