5 Key Pieces: Fall Sweaters

After a long, lovely, summer hiatus I am BACK and so ready for fall fashions!  When the weather starts to turn crispy I LOVE putting on a special sweater.  Cashmere, silly animal prints or interesting shapes can elevate the humble sweater to new heights.  Here are some of my favorites:

Forever 21 Ditsy Feline Sweater:

My sister just purchased this hilarious sweater for me and I am in LOVE with it.  It's not the most warm but it is a perfect layering piece - and the kitty print is adorable.  Plus its super cheap! 

Zara Sweater with Chiffon:
I adore the bold red color of this sexy, drape-y, sweater.  The deep V is ultra flattering and it looks amazing with skinny jeans or leggings.

Topshop Knitted Leopard Sweater:

You know how I LOVE anything leopard.  This is a super soft sweater with a great cut - plus the leopard on the front reminds me of sweaters I used to wear in grade school.  This would look sexy with liquid leggings and studded booties!

Kensie Owl Intarsia Sweater:

The PERFECT layering piece for all my little hipster friends!  This sweater is a hoot! (haha sorry I had to.)

Alexander Wang Patchwork Stitch Asymmetrical Sweater:

This one is a little pricey but so so worth it!  There is nothing sexier than a little flash of skin during the cold fall and winter months. I would wear this with the strap of a beautiful black lace bra peeking out.  Gorgeous.

EXTRA CREDIT:

Sweaters are all well and good but what makes the outfit chic and not dowdy are the correct accessories!  Here are some great ones to pair with your sweaters:

 Hue Ultra Wide Waistband Leggings:
These are my absolute FAVORITE leggings - they are soft and stretchy and the waistband is wide enough to eliminate muffin tops!  I have at least 6 pairs of these as I wear them all fall and winter long!  Plus they fit perfectly into tall boots without bunching up or adding too much bulk.

 Rachel Zoe Sequined Oversize Beret:
I DIE!  BANANAS!  I love a cozy winter hat in an unexpected fabric.  This one adds a subtle hint of glamour to any cozy outfit.  Plus it is the PERFECT amount of slouch and looks fantastic on all hair colors and lengths.

Juicy Couture Tough Girl Jack Hobo:

I am IN LOVE with this bag!!  The electric blue lining, the soft, delicious leather, and the sexy studs make it a perfect everyday fall bag.  Its sexy, tough, glamorous and large enough to fit an iPad.  OBSESSED.
